Not Sure If This Track Is Right for You?
Take the quick quiz to see if medical coding fits your goals, then review the program levels below.
Take the 30-Second Fit Quiz
This quiz helps future students decide whether medical coding is the right path and whether a complete CCS/CCA career track fits their goals.
Students serious about medical coding, hospital coding, documentation understanding, and CCS/CCA certification need more than a basic review class โ they need a complete career track.
Because Hospital Coders Need a Stronger Foundation
Anyone can start this program. The goal is to help students build the foundation, coding judgment, and documentation understanding needed to step into hospital coding roles with CCS or CCA certification readiness.
Start With the Foundation
Students build knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy, disease processes, pharmacology, pathology, documentation, and coding systems โ no prior experience required.
Learn by Applying
Students apply what they learn through practicum-style assignments, coding scenarios, AHIMA VLab exposure, and documentation-based exercises.
Prepare for More Options
This track supports students interested in physician coding, outpatient coding, inpatient coding, hospital coding, and CCS/CCA certification goals.
Chatrione Harris
"I started exactly where you are right now โ wanting more for my career, wanting to work from home, wanting to do something that mattered. I sat for the exams. I passed all 8 of my certifications, including my CCS. I built a career inside Johns Hopkins, the University of Maryland, and Mercy Medical Center. And then I built this academy, so that you can be where I am โ and I can personally guide you there."
If I can do this, so can you โ and I'd be honored to walk you through it. As a CCS-credentialed coder and AHIMA ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer, I built this Premier track from the ground up โ covering the deeper subjects (Pharmacology, Pathology, ICD-10-PCS) that hospitals expect from credentialed coders. This isn't a faceless online school. When you enroll, you're learning from someone who has actually mastered the CCS path and is approved by AHIMA to teach it.
Apply for Mentorship With Chatrione Harris
What other school lets you do this?
When you work with my academy at the Premier mentorship level, you work directly with me โ not an advisor, not an intake rep, not a chatbot. I'll personally guide you through your CCS/CCA preparation, your coding judgment, and your career path.
Because I personally mentor my students, I can only take on a small number at a time. Premier mentorship spots are first-come, first-served โ and fill up quickly.
Apply for Mentorship โWe're Not a Large Coding Platform โ And That's Exactly the Point
Big-name coding programs enroll hundreds โ sometimes thousands โ of students at once. You become a number on a roster. We do things differently. We keep our classes intentionally small because real teaching, real feedback, and real CCS/CCA preparation simply aren't possible at scale.
Each Premier Instructor-Led class is intentionally limited to just 8 students per group โ so every student gets seen, heard, and supported. No hiding in the back. No getting lost in a sea of usernames.
High-Volume Platforms
- Hundreds of students per class โ you're a number
- Pre-recorded videos and chatbots for support
- Anatomy, Pharmacology & Pathology often charged as add-ons
- ICD-10-PCS sold separately at additional cost
- Customer service reps answer your questions โ not coders
- "Self-paced" really means "you're on your own"
- Instructors rotate or are unknown to you
Small. Personal. Student-Focused.
- Only 8 students per class โ every student gets attention
- Live weekly sessions with your CCS-credentialed instructor
- Anatomy, terminology, Pharmacology & Pathology included
- ICD-10-PCS & AHIMA VLab included in the program
- Curriculum built and taught by an AHIMA Trainer
- Direct access to your instructor โ not a help desk
- You learn directly from the founder herself
If You Show Up, I'll Be Right There With You
When you enroll in this academy, you're not just buying a course โ you're entering into a relationship with an instructor who genuinely cares whether you finish, pass, and build the career you came here for. Here's what I commit to every Premier student:
- I'll know your name. With only 8 students per class, you'll never be a number on a roster. I'll know where you're at, where you're stuck, and what you need to keep moving.
- I'll teach you personally. No outsourced TAs, no rotating instructors, no chatbots. The same multi-certified instructor who built this curriculum is the one teaching it โ every week, live.
- I'll answer your questions. When you get stuck on a PCS root operation, a documentation scenario, or a pharmacology concept โ you can ask me directly. No waiting days for a customer service ticket.
- I'll prepare you for certification. Everything in this program is built around getting you exam-ready and career-ready for CCS or CCA โ not just finishing lessons.
- I'll be honest with you. If you're falling behind, I'll tell you. If you need to put in more work, I'll say it. Real teachers care enough to be straight with you.
- I'll stay invested in your success. Your win is my win. When you pass your CCS or CCA exam and step into a hospital coding role, that's the entire reason I built this academy.

Why Students Pursue CCS and CCA Certifications
The CCS and CCA certifications are respected credentials in medical coding because they reflect real coding knowledge, stronger documentation understanding, and professional coding competency.
Unlike some certification pathways, there is no apprentice status. Once students successfully pass the certification exam, they earn the full credential โ not a temporary apprentice designation.
This is one reason many hospitals, healthcare systems, and larger medical organizations specifically value AHIMA certifications for coding roles.
Review patient records and assign diagnosis and procedure codes.
ICD-10-CM, CPT, medical terminology, disease processes, and pharmacology.
Coded data supports reimbursement, reporting, research, public health, and healthcare outcomes.
Many hospitals and larger healthcare organizations specifically prefer AHIMA certifications for coding roles.
Once certified, students earn the full credential โ not a temporary apprentice designation.
Coding accuracy impacts reimbursement, compliance, and how healthcare outcomes are described.
